difficult direction has the right of way. The probability of encountering

driver should get right of way.
4. NO LITTERING!!! Maintain the attitude that you
will leave with MORE than you came with. Please take your trash with you. Do
not throw your cigarettes out of your vehicle.
5. MAINTAIN A HEALTHY VEHICLE!!! Check if any of
your fluids are low. Do you have enough power steering fluid? Enough oil,
coolant, windshield washer fluid? Check your brakes often; you may need to
replace the pads/shoes. Check your headlights and taillights. If you are
traveling in a group at night or even alone, you will want lights that work.

the World Wide TTORA club. Members are required to contact the President or
Vice President of their chapter at least once every six months. If you leave
, please let the President or Vice President know so you can be removed
from the membership list. In addition, you should also send an e-mail
to the state chapter were you are going so you can be added to their
membership. Every 6 months membership rosters are purged, so it is critical
that you contact us if your information has changed, so that when we update
we keep you as a part of TTORA.

Trail Guide
As we grow, we see more and more newcomers to the sport of offroading.
Sometimes these newcomers are our own presidents, or maybe they're not so new,
but have never led a large group on a trail ride before.
Safety on the trail is our first and foremost concern! It is the responsibility
of the chapter presidents, vice presidents, trail leaders and ALL TTORA members!
Your first off road event can be a daunting task.
In an effort to make your first event safe and enjoyable for everyone, this
Trail Guide has been established.
Please use this as a guideline for your first, as well as future off road events
involving your chapter.
TTORA Trail Ride Outline
I. Get waiver signed and explain the purpose
II. Planning a Trail Ride
a. Pre run the trails!!! You and/or your trail leader(s) should prerun any

checking your taillights. Even alone at night you want headlights and
reversing lights that work.
